It's not too often we get an import drag event at our local tracks. This past Sunday we had the 4th annual Import Face Off event in Ennis. The FWD class had a great showing and there were quite a few really quick and really consistent cars! Congrats to all who won and ran consistently, especially those who ran personal bests. Aaron Lopez ran great with his usual consistency, running 9.5's. 'The Brothers' really came out strong running dead consistent 9.5's all day long and took 2nd place. Mitch ran a new personal best in his EP3 with an 11.0. 'Big Mike' ran a 10.1 in his Civic coupe, but was held back by worn a 4th gear syncro. Lil' Jose from Houston was on a tear when a miss shift ended his day. He was able to qualify with a 9.5 earlier in the day. Max from San Antonio came out in his EF and pulled off a 10.2, but a broken axle ended his day. I'm pretty sure this has been the quickest FWD class at an IFO event, quickest of any i've been to at least.
