An Industry First, these forged pistons feature skirt diameters that correspond to the OEM Grade 1, 2 or 3 bores. Check the bore grades on the back of your block and order the appropriate quantities of Grade 1, 2 or 3 pistons.

Manley pistons are machined of high strength 2618 material. The design is lightweight, yet robust enough to deliver long service life. Offset wrist pin design is utilized for quiet start-ups. Perfect ring groove-to-skirt squareness is achieved through Manley's unique "one fixturing" manufacturing method that assures maximum horsepower. All GT-R pistons come with moly coated skirts, round wire locks, premium chrome moly wrist pins, and premium steel top ring with napier second sets from Total Seal are included with every kit at no additional charge. 9310 alloy upgraded wrist pins are available.
Proprietary multi-step top ring groove machining process assures optimum control of the groove's size, geometry, flatness, and finish.
Precise pinhole machining results in an exact compression distance as well as precise lock ring groove spacing, size, and concentricity.
"Contour forgings" provide the optimum balance between strength and weight with no grain-interrupting internal milling.

Special Ordering Information:
In order to determine the proper grade/size piston for the VR38 in your GTR, you will need to take a look on the block itself. On the passenger-side upper-portion of the block (near the firewall) is a visible flat spot that has six numbers engraved in sequence (pictured below). You will need to transcribe this sequence and order pistons in the corresponding grade (either 1, 2, or 3). Please notate this six digit sequence in the 'notes' portion of your order.
