Mustang GT 97-04 | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.60.14.14.8

ID1300-XDS, for Mustang GT 4.6L applications. 14mm (purple) adapters. Set of 8. **Not compatible with stock Ford ECU due to scaling limits**

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the ID1300-XDS Injectors

ChatGPT said:

What maximum E85 horsepower will the ID1300-XDS set support on a turbo or supercharged (2V or 4V)?

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is sized for extreme performance on the . This set of 8 supports forced induction E85 setups well into the 800 to 950+ wheel horsepower range, offering maximum safety margin for heavily modified and New Edge Mustangs.

Is the 60mm length of the injector a true drop-in replacement for the factory fuel rail?

Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the standard 60mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the factory fuel rails. It installs directly into the manifold ports without needing spacers.

Does this USCAR ID1300-XDS set require adapters to connect to the factory harness?

Yes, adapters are required. The harness uses the older rectangular EV1 (Jetronic/Minitimer) connector. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. You will need eight USCAR to EV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.

Where can my tuner find the official Injector Dynamics data for the when tuning with or ?

Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2). This data is mandatory for custom tuning software to accurately scale the high-flow injectors in the PCM, preventing scaling errors and ensuring smooth low-load operation.

Since the stock injectors flow 19-24 , is upgrading the required when installing 127 ID1300-XDS injectors?

Yes, strongly recommended/required. Since the injector flow is being scaled so dramatically, the Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) scaling will need significant revision or replacement with a Big Air MAF (like an ) to allow the PCM to accurately measure the increased air volume and compute correct fuel calculations. A new tune is mandatory.
