ID1750-XDS, for GM LS9, Direct replacement (no adapter top), Orange lower o-ring, set of 8.
The Best Just Got Better!
The ID1750 is the successor to the ID1700, featuring numerous improvements.
Compared to the 1700, the 1750 offers:
All while retaining the same “Compatible with everything but dirt” corrosion resistance that made the ID1700 famous.
Nominal Flow Rate – 1728cc/min @ 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi), Using E10 Emissions Certification Fuel at 49 Degrees C (120F)
Maximum Differential Fuel Pressure – 7.0 Bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel Compatibility – Compatible with Methanol/Ethanol/MTBE/Nitromethane/All Known Hydrocarbon Fuels.
Electrical Connector – USCAR
With the necessary supporting modifications, the ID1750-XDS injectors are large enough to fuel a supercharged LSJ engine to over 450 horsepower (whp) when running E85. This gives ample fuel for major pulley and cam upgrades.
The ID1750-XDS is designed for high-pressure systems, handling a maximum differential fuel pressure of up to 7.0 Bar (101.5 psi). This durability ensures reliable fuel delivery under the high boost conditions of the Cobalt SS supercharger.
The ID1750-XDS is a high-impedance injector, which means it's electrically compatible with the factory LSJ Engine Control Unit (ECU). This avoids the need for external resistor boxes or complex driver modifications typically required for low-impedance injectors.
Yes, by ensuring excellent cylinder-to-cylinder fuel balance, the engine runs smoother with less internal vibration. This consistency can indirectly lead to a smoother running supercharger system, potentially extending the life of components like the belt and coupler.
For gasoline-only applications, the ID1750-XDS is excessively large and may complicate low pulse width tuning, leading to a rich idle. The ID1300-XDS is generally recommended for high-power gasoline-only builds for better drivability.
