Some projects just have the extra little bit of “it” when the plan starts coming together. You just know it’s going to be a special one once done and it ignites a special fire with everyone involved. This is one of those.
Our awesome customers Brandon and Ayla are giving us the opportunity to build an R35 that will go down in the books as one of the greatest of all time. This 68mm class car is going to showcase anything and everything we are capable of doing and we can’t wait to show you guys the process along the way. The first step is a giant one, but one we are all eager to see come together. We are teaming up with Nelson Racing Design to create an full carbon body, with a few extra touches. Various carbon panels are nothing new on the platform, but all carbon bodies are quite rare. This isn’t something most carbon companies are willing to take on, but the crew at Nelson’s isn’t your normal carbon company and the body on this is going to be world-class. We will also have our own line of carbon panels once this car is done, all of which will be available for sale.
Once we have the car back, we can get cranking on the fabrication work and one of our Stage 7 4.3’s will be ready to drop in. We will try and keep you guys in the loop along the way, so keep an eye out!

We received the car from Brandon, took some preliminary photos, and started tear down.

Factory NISMO bodywork is put back on the car in preparation for transport to Nelson Racing Design in Colorado.

Not too crazy of an update today, but the car transport showed up to T1 HQ and the GT-R is on its way up to Colorado to Nelson Racing Development.
