Yes. This is the 'Heavy Duty' (HD) version, boasting 970 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA). It provides significant cranking power to start high-compression or large displacement engines reliably.

What does '48 Amp Hours (PbEq)' mean?

'PbEq' stands for Lead-Acid Equivalent. While the actual lithium capacity is 24Ah, it performs like a 48Ah lead-acid battery in terms of starting capability and usable power density.

Do I need a special charger for this battery?

Yes. You must use a charger specifically designed for Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. Using a standard lead-acid charger or desulfator can damage the cells and void the warranty.

They also come with a Voltage Indicator test button on the battery so you can easily check its charge level.



The NEW Heavy Duty ATX20 and ATX30 do not have our RE-START built-in jump-starting feature but offer a deeper level of Discharge for more usable Capacity and more Power for Cranking. They also offer a FULL Battery Management System (BMS) to protect the battery from over-discharge and over-charge as well as having Thermal Protections. This makes for the safest and longest life-cycle possible.
