GSC Power-Division camshafts are engineered to maximize airflow, power production, and usable RPM while maintaining the valvetrain stability required for real-world performance. Unlike generic “one-size-fits-all” profiles, GSC camshafts are developed using application-specific analysis that considers cylinder head flow characteristics, valvetrain geometry, rocker motion, intended powerband, fuel type, and engine configuration.
Manufactured from forged barstock in house with precision-ground lobe profiles, GSC cams are trusted by engine builders, tuners, racers, and enthusiasts around the world — from street cars to record-setting drag programs. Whether the goal is improved response, broader power delivery, or extreme horsepower capability, GSC camshafts are built around one principle: maximizing performance without compromising valvetrain control.
Required for the 7045S3 are the GSC5068 Beehive valve springs and lightweight titanium retainers, this combination will keep the valve train happy up to 9800 RPM at 60psi of boost.
GSC specifically designed the valve springs and retainers for the high horsepower VR38DETT and utilize different intake and exhaust retainers to keep proper spring seat pressure.
