TBB5T BRACKET SET

TBB5T side mounted brackets are a 30 mm taller version of the TBB5. It is sometimes necessary to lift the seat in a saloon car, as the B5 driving position is very low when compared to regular seats. TBB5T brackets are 90° and therefore can point inwards or outwards.

The 2022 model TBB5T can also be used to directly fit a B5 seat onto the stock rails of the Miata MX5 NA Mk1 and NB Mk2-Mk 2.5.

KEY FEATURES

Taller bracket option for fitting a B5 car seat.
Typically, TBB5T brackets are INWARD (under the seat) pointing, to achieve minimal footprint & maximum fitment possibilities within narrow and restricted cockpits.
They can however be rotated 90° for an OUTWARD footprint if required, due to the upright nature of the B5 Car seat and fixing holes being level.
Made from 5mm thick aluminium with a textured black powder coated finish.
The slot and hole options in the brackets allow the seat to be tipped, raised and lowered.
Lower slot dimension enables them to fit directly on the Tillett seat adjustment runners, STRI and PTRI (for an inward setting) or STRO and PTRO (for an outward setting). (Please note we advise against using any seat adjustment runners in a race car, as they are only intended for road use).
The optional aluminium “Pegged spacer kit” can be used to strengthen the front slots in the event of an accident.
A pair of TBB5T brackets weigh 1.4kg.
