B/D Series transmission stub with 3/4″ universal joint welded on.

This is our transmission stub and universal joint kit pre welded and ready to build from. This is the same bottom portion we use in our G Force shifter kits.  You will need to supply a linkage with 3/4″ o.d. tubing to complete the assembly. Tubing can be bolted or welded to the u joint.

Which transmissions is this assembled joint compatible with?

This assembly is specifically designed for Honda and Acura B-Series and D-Series manual transmissions. It replaces the standard joint on the transmission selector shaft.

What additional parts do I need to build a complete linkage?

This kit provides the transmission-side connection. You will need to supply your own 3/4-inch (0.750″) O.D. tubing to connect this joint to your shifter handle inside the cabin.

Is this the same component used in T1 G-Force shifter kits?

Yes, this is the exact same pre-welded bottom portion we utilize in our complete G-Force shifter kits, ensuring you get race-proven durability and correct geometry for your DIY build.

Do I have to weld my linkage to this universal joint?

Not necessarily. Since the U-joint is mild steel, you can weld your tubing to it for a permanent fix, or you can drill through the collar and bolt/pin the tubing for a removable connection.

Why is the U-joint pre-welded to the stub?

Welding the universal joint to the transmission stub requires precise alignment and good penetration. We handle this difficult step so you can focus on fabricating the length of the linkage itself.
