The factory shaft is prone to crack and fail around 2000whp.   Input shaft failures are catastrophic and typically take out the bell housing and driveshaft causing an immense amount of damage. This is a must upgrade for anyone pushing over 2000whp.

At what horsepower level does the factory input shaft fail?

The factory R35 input shaft is prone to cracking and failure around the 2000whp mark. For builds approaching or exceeding this level, upgrading to the ETS 300M shaft is mandatory to prevent breakage.

Can I use the ETS 300M shaft with a stock spring plate?

No. This input shaft is designed exclusively for use with the ETS Billet Spring Plate. It is NOT compatible with the factory spring plate or other aftermarket options not specified.
