540i / 740i | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.60.14.14.8

ID1300-XDS, for BMW 5/7 Series, 14mm (purple) adapters, set of 8.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the 540i / 740i | ID1300-XDS

Will the ID1750-XDS injectors support 600 whp on an EJ25 Subaru STI engine running E85 at 80% injector duty cycle?

Yes. The ID1750-XDS (1725 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is the preferred choice for high-power EJ25 builds. This set of four can support outputs far in excess of 600 whp on E85 (often up to 750 whp), giving substantial headroom and ensuring fuel delivery stability even with large turbos and high boost pressures.

I am using Cobb Accessport / EcuTek. Where can I find the official Injector Dynamics Latency data for the ID1750-XDS to correctly tune my Subaru?

Official Injector Dynamics characterization data, including the Short Pulse Adder and dead time tables, is crucial. This data is provided on the Injector Dynamics website under the Plug and Play Data folder, with specific Cobb and EcuTek files available for the Subaru platform. Always use the manufacturer-supplied data for optimal low-throttle performance.

Do I need new fuel rails or injector spacers to install the 48mm ID1750-XDS on my 2007-2020 Subaru WRX/STI EJ25 factory Tumble Generator Valve (TGV) housing?

No. This specific set (PN: 1750.48.14.14.4) is engineered to the correct 48mm O-ring to O-ring length and 14mm diameter for a direct, drop-in mechanical fit into the factory EJ25 fuel rail and TGV housing bores. No spacers, rail modifications, or machining are needed.

Do the ID1750-XDS injectors require Denso to USCAR adapters to plug into the factory Subaru EJ25 engine harness?

Yes, adapters are required. The ID1750-XDS uses the USCAR (EV6/EV14) electrical connector, while the Subaru EJ25 uses a Denso-style connector. This kit is sold with the necessary USCAR to Denso Plug-and-Play (PNP) adapters (ID P/N 90.3) to ensure a clean, solder-free connection.

What specific fuel filter micron rating is required for the all-stainless ID1750-XDS when used primarily with E85 on a tuned Subaru?

Although the ID1750-XDS features corrosion-proof stainless steel internals, E85 can dissolve debris in the fuel system. Injector Dynamics mandates a dedicated 10-micron or finer secondary (post-pump) fuel filter to protect the internal components, guaranteeing reliable performance and longevity under E85 use.
