ID1300-XDS, for BMW E90 / E92 / E93 M3 2007+, 14mm (grey) adapter top. Set of 8.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) set of 8 injectors is ideal for high-boost S65 V8 applications. It provides the flow capacity for E85 setups well into the 800 to 1000+ wheel horsepower range, giving maximum duty cycle safety margin for aggressive supercharger kits and engine builds.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is manufactured to the correct 48mm O-ring to O-ring length and includes the necessary 14mm gray adapter tops for a direct mechanical fit into the E9x M3 S65 fuel rail and manifold ports. No spacers are required.
No, no adapters are required. The factory E9x M3 S65 harness uses the modern USCAR (EV6/EV14) electrical connector, which perfectly matches the connector on the ID1300-XDS. This setup is a direct electrical plug-in installation.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2), on their support site. This data is mandatory for custom DME tuning solutions to ensure the high-revving S65 V8 receives precise fuel metering across its entire 8000+ RPM range.
Yes. The primary issue is the high fuel demand during the cold start emissions cycle. The ID1300-XDS's superior low-pulse fidelity ensures accurate delivery of the minute fuel mass required at idle, preventing the misfires, stumbling, and DME fault codes (e.g., 2B42, 2B48) that are often incorrectly blamed on other engine components.
