The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is sized for extreme performance on the 4-cylinder S14 engine. This set of 4 supports forced induction E85 setups well above 600 to 750+ wheel horsepower, providing extensive flow margin for high-boost racing applications where the S14 has been built for maximum output.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the standard 60mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the S14 engine. It includes 14mm purple adapter tops and drops directly into the original fuel rail and manifold bosses without requiring spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The E30 M3 factory harness uses the older rectangular EV1 (Minitimer) connector. You will need four USCAR to EV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2) for standalone systems. This data is mandatory for the S14 engine to achieve precise fuel control and cylinder-to-cylinder balance, which is especially challenging on high-strung race engines.
The ID1300-XDS uses Dual Slope Matching to ensure highly linear flow even at the lowest pulse widths required for idle. This prevents the large injector from becoming unpredictable, which is the key to maintaining a smooth, consistent idle on a small, high-compression engine like the S14.
