The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

How do I know if I need this 14mm kit or the 11mm version for my 240SX build?

The choice depends entirely on your top-feed fuel rail. This 14mm kit (1300.60.14.14.4) is the most common standard and fits the vast majority of aftermarket fuel rails (like Radium, Tomei, etc.). The 11mm version is for a smaller, specific set of rails designed for that size. Always check your fuel rail specifications before ordering.

My tuner is concerned about idle control with 1300cc injectors on a 4-cylinder. Is this a problem?

No, this is a key advantage of Injector Dynamics. Due to the extremely precise dynamic matching and comprehensive dead-time (latency) data provided for all major ECUs, the ID1300-XDS can deliver a surprisingly stable, smooth idle and excellent low-throttle drivability, even on E85.

Is the ID1300-XDS the right choice for a 450whp E85 build on a KA-T (KA24DE-Turbo)?

This is borderline. For a 4-cylinder engine, the ID1300-XDS will comfortably support approximately 380-400whp on E85 (or ~500whp on gasoline). For a 450whp goal on E85, you would be running a very high duty cycle. We would strongly recommend the ID1700-XDS to ensure you have a safe margin for consistent fuel delivery.

What benefits does the XDS series offer for a high-boost 240SX drift car build?

For a drift car, reliability is key. The -XDS series features all stainless-steel internals, making them 100% compatible and corrosion-proof with E85. What physical size are these injectors, and will they fit under the stock SR20DET intake manifold?

These are a 60mm long body injector. When paired with a compatible top-feed fuel rail (like those from Radium Engineering), they are designed to fit correctly under the factory SR20DET intake manifold without any clearance issues.
