The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
This kit is specifically engineered for the 90-96 300ZX TT. The 60mm length ensures it seats correctly between the intake manifold and the fuel rail. Crucially, it features an 11mm top o-ring designed to seal perfectly in the factory 300ZX fuel rail bore, making it a true drop-in installation without any spacers or modifications required.
The 1340cc/min flow rate of the ID1300-XDS provides significant fueling capacity. For the 6-cylinder VG30DETT engine, this set can reliably support up to ~575 WHP on E85 or ~750 WHP on conventional gasoline. This assumes an adequate high-volume fuel pump and a standard base fuel pressure of 3 bar (43.5 psi) while maintaining a safe injector duty cycle.
The ID1300-XDS injectors use a modern USCAR (EV6) style connector, which is different from the factory Nissan harness. However, this kit with part # 1300.60.11.14.6 is a complete solution and includes the correct plug-and-play adapter harnesses. This allows you to connect the new injectors directly to your stock harness without any cutting, soldering, or wiring modifications.
The 11mm top o-ring is a critical specification for this application. The original factory fuel rail on the VG30DETT engine was designed with an 11mm bore to accept the stock injectors. This Injector Dynamics kit is engineered to match that specific dimension perfectly, ensuring a reliable, OEM-quality, leak-free seal. Using an injector with a more common 14mm top o-ring would not fit the stock rail and would require a costly aftermarket fuel rail.
