ID1300-XDS, for 2011+ Ford F-150 5.0L Coyote applications. 14 mm (grey) adapter top AND (silver) BOTTOM adapter. Direct plug-in. Set of 8.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The fitment code 1300.60.14.14B identifies a specific physical configuration: 60mm body length, a 14mm upper O-ring (fuel rail side), and a 14mm B-style lower O-ring/seal (manifold side). This exact configuration is often utilized for popular domestic applications like the 2011+ Ford Mustang GT (Coyote) or certain Audi/VW platforms, ensuring a direct-fit replacement for the stock fuel injectors.
The ID1300-XDS is optimized for exceptional short pulse width linearity using its advanced internal design. This means the injector provides a very predictable and repeatable fuel mass even at the tiny pulse widths required for a stable gasoline idle or cruise, eliminating the 'lumpiness' common with older, large-flow injectors on turbocharged engines.
Yes, Injector Dynamics provides the most comprehensive latency (dead time) data in the industry, including tables across a full range of system pressures and voltages. This precise data is essential for your tuner to accurately program the Engine Control Unit (ECU), which directly translates to highly accurate fuel delivery compensation and consistent air-fuel ratios under all driving conditions.
To protect the internal components and ensure the longevity of the ID1300-XDS, especially when running E85 or high-performance fuels, a stainless steel 10-micron filter or better is strongly recommended. Ethanol can be harsher on fuel system components, and a high-quality filter prevents particulates from affecting the injector's ultra-fine spray pattern.
Because the ID1300-XDS is a high-impedance injector (around 8.5 Ohms), it is electrically compatible with most modern factory ECUs that use a saturated driver circuit, as well as nearly all aftermarket ECUs. However, proper tuning and a custom calibration are always required to accurately command the significantly larger fuel flow rate.
