ID1300-XDS, for 05-10 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L applications. 14mm (purple) adapters. Direct plug-in. Set of 8.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is designed for high-flow Modular V8 applications. This set of 8 supports forced-induction E85 setups well into the 800 to 950+ wheel horsepower range, providing a generous safety margin for supercharged or turbocharged 3V builds.
Yes. This ID1300-XDS set matches the standard 60mm O-ring to O-ring length used in the 4.6L 3V fuel rails, allowing a perfect drop-in fit into the factory intake manifold without the need for spacers.
No adapters are required. While older Ford models used the EV1 connector, the 2005–2010 Mustang GT harness uses the modern USCAR (EV6/EV14) connector, which directly matches the ID1300-XDS. The installation is fully plug-and-play.
Injector Dynamics provides complete characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on the ID1300x2). This information is required for custom tuning platforms like SCT or HP Tuners to properly scale injector flow and prevent rich idle or stalling on the 3V engine.
No. The injectors do not physically interfere with the VCT system. However, if the cam phasers are worn or faulty—a common 3V issue—they may cause idle instability that can mimic a fueling problem. Ensure the VCT system is functioning correctly and that the tune accounts for proper cam phaser operation.
The tuner must accurately calibrate Injector Timing and Idle Spark Advance tables, along with the flow data. Excessive spark advance or incorrect injector timing can cause idle hunting or misfires. Using the official Injector Dynamics data ensures the correct minimum pulse width and stable idle behavior.
