The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min) provides massive flow for the supercharged Ford 5.4L V8. This set of 8 injectors is capable of supporting E85 setups well into the 800 to 950+ wheel horsepower range, offering maximum safety margin for heavy towing or high-performance street/strip applications.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the universal 60mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the factory Ford 5.4L 2V/3V supercharged fuel rails (often shared with the Lightning). It installs directly without requiring spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory Ford 5.4L supercharged harness uses the older Jetronic/Minitimer (EV1) connector. You will need eight USCAR to EV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) for a non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2). This data is mandatory for custom tuning software (like SCT X4) to correctly scale the injectors in the Ford PCM, ensuring accurate fuel delivery and predictable drivability.
Achieving a smooth idle requires correctly setting the Injector Flow Rate and Dead Time tables in the PCM using the supplied ID data. Additionally, tuners often need to adjust the Idle Airflow tables and perform a proper MAFS calibration using a Big Air MAF to ensure the engine's large displacement and high-flow components do not lead to a lean condition or surging at low RPM
The all stainless steel internals of the ID1300-XDS offer superior protection against rust and corrosion that can form in the long fuel lines and large tanks of trucks, especially when converting to E85. This prevents injector clogging and ensures the injector maintains its matched flow characteristics.
