The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) set of 6 injectors provides substantial flow for the Barra I6. It supports forced induction E85 setups well into the 800 to 950+ wheel horsepower range. This is the injector required for highly aggressive Barra builds using large aftermarket turbochargers and high boost.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the standard 60mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the Barra engine. It installs directly into the factory fuel rail and manifold ports without requiring spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory Barra harness uses the older rectangular EV1 (Minitimer) connector. You will need six USCAR to EV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2). This data is mandatory for custom tuning software to correctly scale the high-flow injectors in the Barra PCM, ensuring accurate fuel delivery and predictable drivability.
The ID1300-XDS offers the largest flow while maintaining superior low-pulse fidelity (Dual Slope Matching). Larger injectors (like the ID2600-XDS) sacrifice some of this fidelity, making cold starts and very light load cruising less smooth. The ID1300-XDS gives the best combination of huge flow for boost and OEM-like idle quality.
Yes. The all stainless steel internals are critical for maximum corrosion resistance against E85. This ensures the injector maintains its precise flow matching and prevents degradation, which is key to avoiding eventual cylinder inconsistency or failure.
