93-97 Firebird (LT1) | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.60.14.14.8

ID1300-XDS, for 93-97 Firebird / LT1 applications. 14mm (purple) adapters, set of 8.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the 93-97 Firebird (LT1) | ID1300-XDS

What is the maximum E85 horsepower level this ID1300-XDS 8-injector set will support on a supercharged or turbo LT1 Firebird/Trans Am?

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is one of the highest-flowing injectors for the LT1 platform. On forced induction setups converting to E85, this set can support 850 to 950+ wheel horsepower (whp) assuming sufficient fuel pump and line upgrades are in place to maintain pressure. This provides ample fuel capacity for highly modified LT1 engines.

Is the 60mm length of the ID1300-XDS (PN: 1300.60.14.14.8) a direct, unmodified drop-in replacement for the 1993-1997 LT1 fuel rail?

Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to match the factory 60mm O-ring to O-ring length and 14mm O-rings of the 93-97 LT1 engine. It installs into the original fuel rail and intake manifold bosses without requiring spacers, adapters, or rail modifications.

Does the ID1300-XDS kit for the 93-97 Firebird LT1 include the necessary USCAR to EV1 Plug-and-Play (PNP) harness adapters?

Yes, adapters are required and usually included. The factory LT1 harness uses the older Minitimer (EV1) connector, while the ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. This set is designed to be installed with USCAR to EV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) to eliminate the need for cutting and soldering on your F-body's engine harness.

Where can I get the accurate injector offset/dead time data for the ID1300-XDS to correctly scale the factory GM LT1 PCM using HP Tuners?

Injector Dynamics provides validated Dead Time (Latency) data (based on ID1300x) and Flow vs. Pressure tables specifically for use with GM tuning software like HP Tuners and PCMforLess. This precise data is mandatory for overcoming the common challenge of achieving a smooth idle and consistent air/fuel ratio with high-flow injectors on the LT1 PCM.

Is running pure gasoline (93 octane) safe with 1300 cc/min ID injectors, or will the short pulse width cause a rough idle on my LT1?

Running gasoline is safe with proper tuning. The ID1300-XDS is engineered with exceptional low-flow linearity. Unlike older large injectors, it maintains a precise, small fuel mass at idle, preventing the overly rich condition and unstable idle that plagues LT1 builds with lower-quality high-flow injectors.
