C6 ZR1 (LS9) | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.34.14.15.8

ID1300-XDS, for GM LS9, Direct replacement (no adapter top), Orange lower o-ring, set of 8.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the ID1300-XDS Injectors for LS9

What maximum E85 horsepower will the ID1300-XDS set support on a highly modified, supercharged C6 ZR1 (LS9) engine?

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) provides substantial overhead for the factory-supercharged LS9. This 8-injector set is capable of supporting E85 setups well into the {900 to 1050+ wheel horsepower (whp) range, making it the injector of choice for upper and lower pulley upgrades, cam shafts, and head modifications.

Is the 34mm length of the ID1300-XDS (PN: 1300.34.14.15.8) a direct, unmodified drop-in replacement for the LS9 supercharger fuel rail?

Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the extremely short 34mm O-ring to O-ring length (the standard length for modern GM supercharged LS9/LSA/LS3 applications). It installs directly into the factory fuel rail and blower intake manifold bosses without requiring spacers.

Does this USCAR ID1300-XDS set require Plug-and-Play (PNP) adapters, since the C6 ZR1 LS9 harness uses the modern USCAR connector?

No, no adapters are required. The factory C6 ZR1 LS9 harness already uses the USCAR (EV6/EV14) electrical connector, which perfectly matches the connector on the ID1300-XDS. This application is a direct plug-and-play electrical installation.

Where can my tuner find the accurate Injector Dynamics flow data to scale the LS9 E67 PCM using HP Tuners for flex fuel?

Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on {ID1300x), specifically for GM tuning platforms like HP Tuners. This data is mandatory for the E67 PCM to accurately control the injector in all supercharged boost/vacuum conditions.

How does the ID1300-XDS ensure a smooth idle on the large 6.2L LS9 engine, despite the injector’s 1335 cc/min flow rate?

The ID1300-XDS uses Dual Slope Matching, which ensures superior cylinder-to-cylinder consistency at the very short pulse widths required at idle. This engineering feature is what allows the LS9 to maintain a perfectly smooth idle and clean drivability even when using injectors sized for extreme E85 power levels.
