The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is a top-tier injector for the Caliber SRT-4. This 4-injector set provides flow capacity for E85 setups well into the 600 to 750+ wheel horsepower (whp) range, offering huge headroom for built 2.4L engines and preventing injector duty cycle issues at peak boost.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the correct 48mm O-ring to O-ring length and 14mm O-ring diameter required for the Dodge Caliber SRT-4. It installs directly into the factory fuel rail and manifold bosses without requiring spacers or modifications.
No, adapters are generally NOT needed. The Caliber SRT-4 (and Neon SRT-4) factory harness already utilizes the USCAR (EV6/EV14) electrical connector, which perfectly matches the connector on the ID1300-XDS. This results in a direct plug-and-play electrical installation.
Injector Dynamics provides validated Dead Time (Latency) data, Short Pulse Adder tables, and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x}) specifically for Chrysler tuning platforms. This accurate data is mandatory for the PCM to correctly transition between atmospheric pressure and boost conditions.
The ID1300-XDS uses Dual Slope Matching to tightly control fuel delivery in the non-linear, low pulse width range. This superior consistency ensures the SRT-4's ECU can accurately deliver the small amount of fuel needed for a stable, stoichiometric (14.7:1 on gas) idle, avoiding the erratic operation often seen with large, uncharacterized injectors.
