Civic 88-95 | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.60.11.14.4

ID1300-XDS, for 88-95 Civic / B, D, H, F Series. 11mm (blue) adapters. Set of 4.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Civic 88-95 ID1300-XDS Injectors

What maximum E85 horsepower will the ID1300-XDS set support on a turbo D-Series or B-Series engine in an 88-95 Civic?

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) provides substantial flow for Honda 4-cylinder platforms. This set of four supports forced induction E85 setups up to 600 to 750+ wheel horsepower (whp), which is far above the limits of most stock internals and prevents injector duty cycle issues on high-boost builds.

Is the 60mm length of the 1300.60.11.14.4 compatible with both D-Series and B-Series engine swap fuel rails in the 88-95 Civic chassis?

Yes. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the universal 60mm O-ring to O-ring length that is standard for most Honda B/D/H/F-Series engine applications. It uses an 11mm top adapter for correct rail fitment, making it suitable for both stock-style and many aftermarket B/D-Series top-feed fuel rails.

Does this USCAR ID1300-XDS set require Plug-and-Play (PNP) adapters for the 88-95 Civic OBD0/OBD1 engine harness?

Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The 88-95 Civic harness typically uses the older rectangular OBD1/EV1 (Minitimer) connector. You will need four USCAR toEV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) to ensure a clean, reliable, and reversible electrical connection.

Where can my Honda tuner find the official Injector Dynamics Dead Time data for the ID1300-XDS for setting up a Hondata S300 or Megasquirt?

Injector Dynamics provides validated Dead Time (Latency) data, Short Pulse Adder tables, and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x) directly to tuning platforms like Hondata S300 and Megasquirt. This data is crucial for the older OBD1ECUs to achieve precise fuel control and prevent erratic behavior at idle.

If I experience a high or erratic idle after installing these high-flow injectors, is this a tuning or mechanical issue on my 88-95 Civic?

While the primary solution is proper scaling (tuning) of the injectors, Honda B/D-Series engines are notorious for air leaks. Before chasing tuning tables, check for vacuum leaks, a stuck Idle Air Control Valve (IACV), or a faulty Fast Idle Thermal Valve (FITV), as these mechanical issues are often amplified by high-flow injectors.
