CL 01-03 | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.48.11.F20.6

ID1300-XDS, for 01-03 CL / J-series V6. 11mm (red) adapters. S2K lower. Set of 6.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the CL 01-03 ID1300-XDS Injectors

What maximum E85 horsepower will the ID1300-XDS set support on a boosted Acura CL (J32A2) engine?

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min) set of 6 injectors provides substantial fuel capacity for the J-Series V6. On forced induction E85 setups, this set is capable of supporting 750 to 850+ wheel horsepower (whp), making it suitable for all but the most extreme J-Series race applications.

What is the significance of the 11mm top seal and F20.6 designation for the Acura CL J32 fuel rail fitment?

This part number features an 11mm top adapter (and 14mm lower seal) and is designed to match the 48mm O-ring to O-ring length of the compact J32 manifold. The F20.6 designation indicates the injector base uses geometry similar to the S2000 injector, ensuring the correct physical installation height and manifold port seal for the 01-03 CL.

Does this USCAR ID1300-XDS set require PNP adapters to connect to the Acura CL J-Series factory harness?

Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS utilizes the universal USCAR connector. The 01-03 CL harness uses a Denso style connector. You will need six USCAR to Denso PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.3) for a non-splicing electrical hookup.

Is this high-impedance ID1300-XDS set compatible with the factory Acura PCM, and what are the benefits over low-impedance injectors?

Yes, it is fully compatible. The ID1300-XDS is a high-impedance injector, meaning it requires no external resistor pack. This simplifies wiring, reduces heat, and is directly compatible with the factory Acura PCM’s saturated drivers, offering superior reliability and control compared to older low-impedance technology.

Where can my tuner find the official Injector Dynamics Dead Time data for the ID1300-XDS to properly tune the Acura J32 ECU?

Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data, including Dead Time and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x), on their support site. This is crucial for properly setting the compensation values in the Acura ECU to ensure stable idle and consistent AFR delivery across the V6's entire operating range.
