Cobalt SS (super) | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.60.14.14B.4

ID1300-XDS, for 2.0L/2.2L supercharged engines. 60mm length, 14 mm (grey) adaptor top AND (silver) BOTTOM adaptor. Set of 4.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the ID1300-XDS for Cobalt SS

Is the the maximum injector size recommended for a built (LSJ) engine on E85 flex fuel?

The ( ) is the largest injector size typically chosen for builds, supporting setups well over . While the offers more flow, the provides the optimal balance of ultra-high flow for E85 and flawless gasoline drivability due to its low-pulse fidelity.

Are the length and adapters of the set a direct drop-in for the supercharger manifold?

Yes, it is a direct fit. This set is configured to the precise required for the engine. It installs directly into the factory fuel rail and manifold bosses without requiring spacers.

Since the factory uses a Multec 2 connector, which adapter is required for the ID1300-XDS?

Adapters are required. The uses the connector, but the uses the Mini Delphi Multec 2 connector. You will need four USCAR to Mini Delphi Multec 2 PNP adapters to ensure a clean, reliable, and reversible electrical hookup. This prevents common issues associated with cutting and splicing.

Where can my tuner find the specific and data needed for tuning the with ?

Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including and tables (based on ), specifically for tuning software like HP Tuners. This data is mandatory for the PCM to accurately control the injector, especially when using boost.

Do the large injectors cause issues like running rich when lifting off the throttle (Decel Fuel Cut) on the ?

Improperly scaled high-flow injectors can interrupt Decel Fuel Cut (DFCO). The precision data provided by Injector Dynamics minimizes the risk of this tuning issue. If the problem persists, your tuner must check all in , as generic high-flow data often leaves the fuel cut tables unaddressed.
