ID1300-XDS, for Commodore VS/VY 3.8L S/C V6. 14mm (purple) adapter top. Set of 6.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS provides exceptional flow for the Supercharged V6. This set of 6 injectors is capable of supporting highly modified E85 setups well above 500+ rear wheel horsepower (approx. 370+ kW), ensuring total fuel reliability even with smaller supercharger pulleys and aggressive timing.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the universal 60mm O-ring to O-ring length that matches the injector bosses in the L67 manifold. It installs directly into the factory fuel rail and manifold ports without requiring any spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector, while the L67 engine utilizes the older Delphi Multec 1 connector. You will need six USCAR to Delphi Multec 1 PNP adapters for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including Dead Time and Flow vs. Pressure tables, on their support site. This data is mandatory for L67 tuners to ensure the PCM correctly calculates the fuel delivery, which is vital for maintaining a stable air/fuel ratio under boost and vacuum.
No, if tuned with the correct data. The ID1300-XDS is precisely flow-matched in the non-linear, low-pulse region. This fidelity ensures the injector delivers the minimal, consistent fuel mass required at idle (high vacuum on a supercharged engine), preventing the injector from falling off the low-pulse cliff that causes rich misfires.
