ID1300-XDS, for Commodore VXII 3.8L S/C V6. 14mm (purple) adapter top. Set of 6.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min) set of 6 injectors provides extremely high flow for the Ecotec V6 engine. It supports highly modified E85 setups well above 600+ rear wheel horsepower (approx. 450+ kW), ensuring fuel reliability for built-engine turbo conversions.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the universal 60mm O-ring to O-ring length that matches the injector bosses in the Ecotec V6 fuel rail. It installs directly into the factory rail and manifold ports without requiring spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory VXII V6 harness uses the older Delphi Multec 1 connector (often referred to as EV1). You will need six USCAR to Multec 1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) to achieve a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including Dead Time and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2), on their support site. This data is mandatory for Ecotec tuners to achieve a smooth idle and consistent AFR across the entire operating range, especially during boost transition.
Yes. The ID1300-XDS is designed for high-pressure stability, rated up to 7.0 Bar (101.5 psi) differential pressure. Its high-impedance design and superior flow matching ensure that fuel delivery remains linear and consistent, even if you increase the base fuel pressure to extract more flow from the injector.
