ID1300-XDS, for Mustang GT 5.0L applications. 14mm (purple) adapters. Set of 8.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is sized for high-flow Modular and builds. This set of 8 supports forced induction E85 setups well into the 800 to 950+ wheel horsepower range, offering maximum safety margin for heavily modified Fox Body and early SN95 engines.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the universal 60mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the and early Modular fuel rails. It installs directly without needing spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory harness uses the older rectangular EV1 (Minitimer/Jetronic) connector. You will need eight USCAR to EV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Not with the stock PCM. The (used up to 1995) cannot be properly scaled for an injector this large without hardware modification (such as an ECU with /chip) or converting to a standalone ECU. Injector Dynamics provides complete Dead Time and flow data for advanced tuning platforms like or .
The persistent high idle and RPM hang on Fox Body Mustangs is typically mechanical — most often caused by a dirty or failing Idle Air Control (IAC) valve or vacuum leaks. Cleaning or replacing the IAC, sealing vacuum lines (especially the salt-and-pepper connectors), and performing a Base Idle Reset/Relearn procedure usually resolves it.
