Scion tC 2.4L | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.17.01.60.11.4

ID1300-XDS, for Scion tC (05-13). 11mm (blue) adapter, Denso lower cushion. Set of 4.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Scion tC ID1300-XDS Injectors

What maximum E85 horsepower will the ID1300-XDS set support on a turbo Scion tC (2.4L 2AZ-FE engine)?

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is sized for high-boost applications on the 2AZ-FE platform. This set of 4 supports forced induction E85 setups well into the 600 to 750+ wheel horsepower range, providing maximum flow margin for built tC engines.

Are the 60mm length and 11mm top adapter (PN: 1300.17.01.60.11.4) a direct drop-in replacement for the Scion tC fuel rail?

Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the universal 60mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the 2AZ-FE fuel rail. It includes an 11mm adapter top and a Denso-style lower cushion (denoted by the 'D') for correct sealing.

Does this USCAR ID1300-XDS set require PNP adapters to connect to the Scion tC factory harness?

Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory Scion/Toyota harness typically uses a Denso style connector. You will need four USCAR to Denso PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.3) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.

Where can my tuner find the specific Injector Dynamics Dead Time data for the ID1300-XDS when tuning the 2AZ-FE?

Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2). This data is mandatory for the tC PCM (or standalone ECU) to prevent DTC codes P050A/P050B (Cold Start Idle/Ignition Issues) often triggered by incorrect injector scaling.

What are the common causes of rough idle on the 2AZ-FE that might be mistaken for an injector issue?

Rough idle or stalling on the 2AZ-FE is frequently caused by a dirty throttle body, a dirty MAF sensor, or a vacuum leak (especially at the PCV hose). The precision of the ID injectors helps, but these mechanical checks must be performed first for a stable tune.
