ID1300-XDS, for 2013+ Subaru BRZ | FA20 2.0L/FA24 2.4L applications. 11mm machined top, WRX-16B bottom adapters. Set of 4.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Subaru BRZ ID1300-XDS Injectors

What maximum E85 horsepower will the ID1300-XDS port injectors support on a forced induction FA20/FA24 engine?

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) set of 4 port injectors is essential for supplementary fueling on these direct injection engines. It supports E85 setups well into the 600 to 750+ wheel horsepower range, depending on turbo size and the flow contribution of the Direct Injection (DI) system.

Is the 36mm length of the 1300.18.04.36.11.4 injector a direct drop-in replacement for the FA20 port rail?

Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the specific ultra-short-body 36mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the FA20/FA24 port manifold. It uses an 11mm machined top and a specific bottom adapter for proper rail seating.

Does this USCAR ID1300-XDS set require PNP adapters to connect to the BRZ factory port injection harness?

Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory BRZ/FR-S port harness uses a Denso style connector. You will need four USCAR to Denso PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.3) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.

Where can my tuner find the specific Lag Time and Flow Scaling data for EcuTek tuning?

Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data, including Injector Lag Time (Dead Time) and Low Pulse Width Compensation tables (based on ID1300x2). This data is mandatory for EcuTek RaceROM to accurately manage the fuel blend between the DI and Port Injection systems.

Why do I need to give my BRZ throttle to start with these high-flow port injectors, and how do I fix it in the tune?

This indicates excessive fuel at startup (a very rich condition). Since port injectors handle cranking, the tuner needs to significantly reduce the Cranking Enrichment Initial Value (cranking pulse width) in the ECU, as the new ID1300-XDS flows much more than the old injectors at the same pulse width.
