The ID1750-XDS can support well over 500 wheel horsepower (whp) on a highly tuned 4-cylinder Ford Focus running E85. This is the top-tier injector for extreme turbo conversions on both Zetec and Duratec engines.
The precise dead time and flow data allows the tuner to accurately calculate fuel delivery at the smallest pulse widths. This is essential for controlling the Idle Speed Compensation (ISC) valve, ensuring a stable, non-stumbling idle despite the large injector size.
This specific ID1750-XDS unit (Part No. 1750.60.14.14.4) is supplied with the correct full-length body required for a sealed, direct-fit installation into the factory or common aftermarket fuel rails used on the 4-cylinder Focus.
Due to the massive flow rate, the factory FPR will almost certainly be overwhelmed, leading to inconsistent pressure. An upgraded, adjustable fuel pressure regulator is required to accurately meter fuel return and maintain stable pressure.
