Electrical Connector – USCAR
The nominal flow rate is 1770 cc/min (168 lb/hr) at 43.5 psi. This ultra-high-flow injector supports E85 setups for McLaren P1 engines, capable of handling approximately 900–1100+ WHP for high-performance builds, making it ideal for heavily tuned or track-focused applications.
This injector features a 34mm short-body length (O-ring to O-ring) with a 14mm lower O-ring and standard upper O-ring. It is a direct-fit solution for the P1 when used with the factory fuel rail and proper Injector Dynamics tuning adapters.
The injector uses the USCAR (EV6/EV14) connector. Typically, a USCAR to McLaren Plug-and-Play (PNP) adapter from Injector Dynamics (or a custom harness) is required to integrate with the P1 fuel system.
Injector Dynamics supplies validated Dead Time (Latency) tables across various battery voltages and Flow vs. Pressure charts. This calibration data is essential for the ECU to correctly fuel the P1 engine and maintain precise air-fuel ratios under all conditions.
The injector features Dual Slope Matching technology to guarantee linearity and accurate fuel metering at minimal pulse widths. This ensures smooth idle, low-load cruising, and eliminates the erratic flow behavior common with generic high-flow injectors.
