ID2600-XDS, for G8 GXP/ LS3 applications. Standard (no adapter). Orange lower o-ring. Set of 8.
The ID2600-XDS is the most recent offering from the partnership of Injector Dynamics and Bosch Motorsport.
The ID2600-XDS was developed specifically for use with liquid fuels, featuring corrosion resistant internals, and long term compatibility with ethanol and methanol.
The ID2600-XDS has the highest flow rate of any injector offered by Bosch, and flows 50% more than the ID1700x.
The ID2600-XDS benefits from Dual Slope Matching, a method of matching the flow rate in both the linear, and nonlinear operating range, providing better cylinder to cylinder consistency at low pulse widths.
Basic Specifications
What is Dual Slope Matching?
Dual Slope Matching is a method of matching injectors that provides the best possible cylinder to cylinder fueling across the entire operating range.
Traditionally, injectors were matched based on static flow rate alone, which resulted in large deviations at low pulse widths.
Injector Dynamics introduced Slope Intercept Matching over a decade ago, which provided even cylinder to cylinder fueling across the linear operating range of the injector.
With the progression of turbo technology, and increased use of alcohol fuels, greater demands are placed on fuel injectors, and they are often required to deliver fuel well outside of their linear operating range.
The concept of Dual Slope Matching extends the injector matching into the lower non linear operating range. Dual Slope Matching was conceived by Aaron Looft of Injector Dynamics, who was inspired by the dual slope injector characterization model used by Ford.

The Nominal Flow Rate is 2600 cc/min (or 246 lb/hr) at 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi). This is an extremely high-flow injector, often flowing 50% more than the ID1700x. A set of 8 will typically support 2200 to 2600+ Horsepower on E85 (depending on fuel system pressure and base engine efficiency).
This injector is the Short Body configuration with a length of 34mm (O-ring to O-ring). It uses a 14mm upper O-ring and a 15mm lower O-ring/cushion. This precise fitment is the direct height required for modern GM Gen IV LS engines (LS3, LS7, LSA).
The injector uses the USCAR (EV6/EV14) electrical connector. This is the factory connector style for all modern GM Gen IV engines (LS3, LS7, LSA) and many newer Ford and Chrysler applications, meaning it is plug-and-play and requires no wiring adapters.
Yes, the ID2600-XDS features all stainless steel internals and is specifically designed for long-term compatibility with Methanol, Ethanol (E85/E100), and all hydrocarbon (gasoline) fuels. Crucial Note: It is NOT compatible with Ethers (MTBE, ETBE, TAME) or Nitromethane.
Yes, but with caveats. The ID2600-XDS is optimized for liquid fuels and uses Dual Slope Matching to provide superior cylinder-to-cylinder consistency, even at low pulse widths (idle). However, due to the massive flow, maintaining a perfect stoichiometric idle on pump gasoline can be challenging; it is generally optimized for E85 idle and for peak power on all fuels.
