ID1300-XDS, for 93-97 Trans Am / LT1. 14mm (purple) adapters, set of 8
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) provides massive flow headroom for the LT1 engine. On forced induction setups using E85, this 8-injector set can typically support 850 to 950+ wheel horsepower (whp), which is sufficient for almost any street/strip LT1 build, provided the fuel pump system is also upgraded.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to match the factory 60mm O-ring to O-ring length and 14mm O-ring diameter common to the GM LT1. It installs directly into the original fuel rail and intake manifold bosses without requiring spacers or rail modifications.
Injector Dynamics provides validated Dead Time (Latency) data (based on ID1300x) and Flow vs. Pressure tables directly on their website. Supplying your tuner with this precise data is mandatory for a good tune, as the older LT1PCM is highly sensitive to correct offset values for stable idle and accurate closed-loop fueling.
Yes, adapters are required and typically included. The factory LT1 harness uses the older Minitimer (EV1) connector, while the ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. This set is packaged to be installed with USCAR to EV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) for a non-splicing electrical hookup.
No. The ID1300-XDS features all stainless steel internals, which are completely corrosion-resistant and specifically designed for superior durability compared to standard injectors when continuously cycling between gasoline and E85 or other aggressive race fuels.
