ID1300-XDS, for 02-05 Civic Si / K-series. 14mm (grey) adapter top. Set of 4.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is a very high-capacity option for the Honda K-Series. This set of four provides flow for turbocharged E85setups well into the 600 to 750 wheel horsepower (whp) range, offering substantial margin even for aggressive builds and high-boost applications using a Hondata KPro or K-Tuner.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the correct short-body 48mm O-ring to O-ring length and 14mm O-ring diameter required for the K20A3/K20A2 engine. It installs directly into the factory fuel rail and intake manifold bosses without requiring spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the universal USCAR connector, while the 02-05 Civic Si K-Series uses a Denso style connector. You will need four USCAR to Denso PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.3) to ensure a clean, reliable, and solder-free electrical connection.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data (based on ID1300x) directly for Hondata KPro software. This precise data is mandatory for correctly calibrating the K20's fuel map and compensation tables, which directly affects cold starting, idle quality, and fuel trims.
No. The ID1300-XDS is engineered for high performance while retaining street manners. Its Dual Slope Matching technology ensures precise fuel delivery in the low-flow range (low cam/idle) and through the sudden flow demand during VTEC engagement, preventing the stumble or hesitation common with less linear high-flow injectors.
Given the ID1300-XDS's capability, you should upgrade the factory fuel pump. For high-boost E85 applications, a minimum of a 450 lph (Walbro 450)or equivalent high-flow pump is necessary to maintain the factory 43.5-50 psi fuel pressure under peak load and prevent injector drop-off.
