Commodore W427 | ID1300-XDS | Injector Dynamics | 1300.34.14.15.8

ID1300-XDS, for Commodore W427 / LS7. Standard (no adapter), Orange lower o-ring, set of 8

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.

Frequently Asked Questions About the ID1300-XDS Injectors for Commodore W427 LS7

What maximum E85 horsepower will the ID1300-XDS set support on a highly modified, naturally aspirated engine?

The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is an extreme flow injector for naturally aspirated V8s. This set of 8 provides flow for setups well above 800 wheel horsepower (approx. 600 kW), giving massive safety margin for built motors running aggressive cam shafts and high RPM.

Is the 34mm short body length (PN: 1300.34.14.15.8) a true drop-in replacement for the factory intake and fuel rail?

Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the short-body 34mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the LS7 engine manifold. It uses the factory top seal and orange lower seal, ensuring a perfect drop-in installation without spacers.

Does this USCAR ID1300-XDS set require PNP adapters to connect to the factory harness?

No, no adapters are required. The LS7 harness uses the modern USCAR (EV6/EV14) electrical connector, which natively matches the connector on the ID1300-XDS. This setup is a direct electrical plug-in installation.

Where can my Holden tuner find the official Dead Time data for the ID1300-XDS to solve cold start issues on the PCM?

Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2) for GM tuning platforms. Accurate data is crucial for the PCM to correctly calculate cold start enrichment, eliminating the rough idle and difficulty starting often associated with large injectors.

What is the recommended maximum differential fuel pressure for the ID1300-XDS to ensure reliability in a high-revving engine?

The ID1300-XDS is designed for high-pressure stability, rated up to 7.0 Bar (101.5 psi) differential pressure. While the factory setup runs 4 Bar, the injector's robust construction allows tuners to safely increase pressure to extract maximum flow in extreme, high-RPM use.
