ID1300-XDS, for Evo X. 14mm (BLACK) BOTTOM adaptor. Set of 4.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) is a benchmark injector for the 4B11T platform. This set of 4 provides the flow capacity for forced induction E85 setups well into the 600 to 750+ wheel horsepower range, offering ample margin for aggressive turbo builds.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the specific short-body 48mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the Evo X fuel rail. It includes the necessary 14mm black bottom adapters and seats correctly without needing spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory Evo X harness uses a Denso style connector. You will need four USCAR to Denso PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.3) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2), specifically for the Evo X's Cobb Accessport and EcuTek tuning suites. This data is mandatory for accurate fuel calculation across all engine loads.
Cold start issues on the 4B11T are often caused by vacuum leaks or an issue with the throttle body/Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) system. A common symptom is surging RPM. Before tuning, thoroughly check all vacuum lines and the throttle body seals, as high-flow injectors amplify minor air leaks.
