The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
This 14mm top version is specifically designed for Infiniti G20s that have been upgraded with an aftermarket fuel rail which uses the common 14mm injector bore (the size of the top O-ring). If your car has the factory SR20 fuel rail, you should use the 11mm version. Always verify your fuel rail bore size.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory harness typically uses a Denso style connector. You will need four USCAR to Denso PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.3) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive and validated characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2) for standalone systems. This data is mandatory to achieve precise fuel control and cylinder-to-cylinder balance, which is challenging on high-output engines.
The ID1300-XDS uses Dual Slope Matching to tightly match flow across the low-pulse width range. This superior precision ensures a smooth, consistent idle and prevents the injector from over-fueling during quick throttle closes, eliminating the erratic idle and rpm hang that plagues older control systems.
The all stainless steel internals provide maximum corrosion resistance and durability. For track cars running E85 or methanol, this prevents internal wear and corrosion, ensuring that the injector's flow rate remains accurate and consistent under the high heat and pressure cycles of racing.
