The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
This specific ID1300-XDS set is confirmed for 2002-2004 Honda Odyssey models. It is designed as a direct-fit upgrade for vehicles running the J35A4 V6 engine. The F20 in the part number indicates the correct length and electrical connector type for this application, ensuring a seamless installation without modification.
While these injectors are physically a direct-fit for the stock fuel rail on the 2002-2004 Odyssey, they have a significantly higher flow rate (1300 cc/min). Therefore, an ECU reflash or a full standalone engine management tune is absolutely required to correctly calibrate the fuel trims and ensure safe operation. Failure to tune the ECU will result in a severe rich condition. We recommend upgrading your fuel pump to maintain stable pressure at high power levels.
The primary benefit is headroom for high-horsepower forced induction applications, such as turbo or supercharger kits. The ID1300-XDS utilizes Injector Dynamics' Advanced Compensation Table (ACT) technology, which provides incredibly linear and predictable flow, particularly at low pulse widths. This translates to smoother idle, better street manners, and precise fuel control under boost—a major improvement over older, non-XDS style high-flow injectors.
Injector Dynamics provides highly detailed characterization data sheets for tuners. Typically, the Dead Time for the ID1300-XDS is around 0.65ms at 14 volts (3 BAR). These injectors are engineered to operate reliably with fuel systems up to 10 BAR (145 PSI), making them suitable for boosted applications. However, your tuning professional should use the exact data sheet provided with your injectors for optimal calibration.
The ID1300-XDS is compatible with all common fuels, including E85, gasoline, and race fuels. To maintain their precision, we strongly recommend using a high-quality, stainless steel 10-micron fuel filter pre-injector. While they are E85 compatible, if running E85, the lines, pump, and filter should be checked more frequently due to the solvent nature of ethanol. Use of low-quality fuel or poor filtration is the leading cause of flow degradation.
