ID1300-XDS, for Dodge SRT-10 / 8.3L engines. 14mm (purple) adapters. Vehicle must be converted to top-feed injector fitment. Set of 10.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) set of 10 injectors is required for serious V10 power. It supports forced induction E85 setups well into the 1200 to 1500+ wheel horsepower range, providing maximum fuel safety for high-boost drag racing and modified street trucks.
Yes, it is a direct fit. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the standard 60mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the V10 engine fuel rails. It installs directly without needing spacers.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory harness uses the older rectangular EV1 (Minitimer) connector. You will need ten USCAR to EV1 PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.1) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including Dead Time (Latency) and Flow vs. Pressure tables (based on ID1300x2). This data is mandatory for the V10 PCM to accurately meter fuel, which is necessary for stable idle and reliable performance, especially when using boost.
Hard starting and sputtering are frequently caused by fuel pressure bleed-off (due to a faulty pump check valve or leaking injector/regulator) or tuning errors. The precision of the ID1300-XDS greatly reduces the chance of misfires and rich running after startup, but the fuel system health must be verified mechanically first.
