ID1300-XDS, for Scion FR-S / FA20 2.0L applications. 11mm machined top, WRX-16B bottom adapters. Set of 4.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications
The ID1300-XDS (1335 cc/min at 43.5 psi) set of 4 port injectors provides massive supplementary flow. For turbo/supercharged E85 setups, they typically support engine power in the 600 to 750+ wheel horsepower range. These injectors are essential for providing the bulk E85 fuel needed under boost, often paired with the Direct Injection system.
Yes, it is a direct fit for the factory port injection rail. This ID1300-XDS set is configured to the ultra-short-body 36mm O-ring to O-ring length required for the FA20 port manifold. It uses an 11mm top and specific WRX-16B bottom adapter for correct seating.
Yes, adapters are required. The ID1300-XDS uses the modern USCAR connector. The factory FR-S/BRZ port harness uses a Denso style connector. You will need four USCAR to Denso PNP adapters (ID P/N 90.3) for a clean, non-splicing electrical hookup.
Injector Dynamics provides comprehensive characterization data, including Lag Time and Low Pulse Width Compensation tables (based on ID1300x2). This data is mandatory for EcuTek RaceROM to accurately manage the blend between the Direct Injection and Port Injection systems.
Yes, tuners can run the FA20 solely on port injection, provided the appropriate tables are scaled for 100% Port Injection. However, the factory DI system is typically kept active to handle light load and cruising for optimal fuel atomization and efficiency.
